Noor Fares creates sacred jewellery rooted in symbolism, spirituality, and the traditions of gemstone healing. She founded her eponymous brand in 2009, weaving energy and wellbeing into the world of fine jewellery.
Raised in Paris and shaped by her Lebanese heritage, Noor developed an early love of adornment through the elegance and individual style of the women in her family. Her studies in History of Art at Tufts University and gemmology at the Gemological Institute of America, followed by an MA at Central Saint Martins, laid the foundations of her practice. Her creative vision draws on her travels, visits to sacred sites and exploration of diverse spiritual traditions.
A sense of awe and a continual search for beauty guide her work. Talismans and esoteric symbols from across cultures inform her designs. Through refined craftsmanship, she creates contemporary amulets, designed with intention and imbued with meaning beyond adornment. Working with materials that originate from the Earth, she is committed to giving back to the planet that makes her creations possible.
Since launching her label in 2009, Noor has won several design awards including: Positive Luxury Awards in 2017 and 2018, and COUTURE Design Awards in 2019. Alongside this, she actively supports the rise of various charitable organisations including Creatives For Lebanon, and is also a board member of the environmental charity Dirt.
